Benjamin Sisko: I kind of like it; ‘Sean’ – has a nice ring to it.
Odo: Except that in Bajoran, ‘shawn’ means ‘swamp’.
Benjamin Sisko: The O’Briens know that?
Odo: I doubt it.
Benjamin Sisko: Someone should tell them.

Neville looked miserable and muttered something about “my grandmother wants.”
“Hmph,” snorted Professor McGonagall. “It’s high time your grandmother learned to be proud of the grandson she’s got, rather than the one she thinks she ought to have — particularly after what happened at the Ministry.”
Neville turned very pink and blinked confusedly; Professor McGonagall had never paid him a compliment before.
“I’m sorry, Longbottom, but I cannot let you into my N.E.W.T. class. I see that you have an ‘Exceeds Expectations’ in Charms, however — why not try for a N.E.W.T. in Charms?”
“My grandmother thinks Charms is a soft option,” mumbled Neville.
“Take Charms,” said Professor McGonagall, “and I shall drop Augusta a line reminding her that just because she failed her Charms O.W.L., the subject is not necessarily worthless.” Smiling slightly at the look of delighted incredulity on Neville’s face, Professor McGonagall tapped a blank schedule with the tip of her wand and handed it, now carrying details of his new classes, to Neville.

As I’m sure you know, there are two types of “What?” in the world. The first type simply means “Excuse me, I didn’t hear you. Could you please repeat yourself?” The second type is a little trickier. It means something along the lines of “Excuse me, I did hear you, but I can’t believe that’s really what you meant.”
A Series of Unfortunate Events: The Austere Academy – Lemony Snicket
Once Upon a Time In Wonderland was an intriguing concept. Where most TV spinoffs usually feel forced, like an attempt to simply cash in on the success of the parent show, Wonderland at least had potential. The world of Once Upon a Time is so vast, and we’ve only scratched the surface of the many worlds and realms that have been seen and mentioned on the show, that it seemed like the perfect setup for a spinoff. We’d gotten a few glimpses at Wonderland, either dealing with Jefferson/the Mad Hatter or Cora/the Queen of Hearts, but the potential was there just waiting to be tapped. Unfortunately, the end result didn’t exactly live up to that potential, but it was still an experiment worth trying and provided us with some memorable characters.

Miles O’Brien: I lied to Captain Kirk! I wish Keiko could’ve been here to see it.

Happy Earth Day, readers! SHIELD is back with another dynamite episode! Last week we watched as Ward and Garrett emptied the Fridge, while Coulson and company chased some mysterious coordinates to Fury’s secret bunker, Providence. Tonight’s episode introduced us to a couple new characters, all while taking another big step along the “who can we trust?” boardgame. Things are really starting to build towards the season finale in a few weeks, so let’s jump right into “The Only Light in the Darkness,” written by Monica Owusu-Breen and directed by Vincent Misiano.
Welcome to “Trailer Tuesday” where I talk about trailers for upcoming movies, since I’ve always found them to be fascinating.
I’m a big fan of stage musicals, I’ve seen a lot of shows on Broadway and countless others on tour, and I also happen to be a Four Seasons/Frankie Valli fan, yet somehow I’ve never managed to see Jersey Boys. (Though, interestingly, it’s coming to my town in just a couple months.) I was very excited when I heard that they were adapting the Tony Award-winning musical into a film. But when I first watched the trailer I wasn’t nearly as excited as I thought I would be. Take a look below and read on for my thoughts:
