Willow: Hey, Amy.
Amy: Hey. Are you guys going to the Valentine’s Day dance at the Bronze? I think it’s gonna be a lot of fun.
Buffy: Go ahead. You know you wanna say it.
Willow: My boyfriend’s in the band!
Amy: Cool.
Buffy: I think you’ve now told everybody.
Willow: Only in this hemisphere.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Season 2: Episode 16 – “Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered”
I was just thinking about this bit the other day! What a coincidence! 🙂

Oh Willow–she was and pretty much remained ridiculously sweet throughout the show! Love her!

Except for season 6, of course!

Welllllll she was sweet for some of it. Of course the evil part was so evil that it was somewhat overwhelming but yellow crayon Willow was only a Xander away!

The real Willow was really sweet underneath all of that, it’s just Warren’s fault she went dark. Awwwww, the yellow crayon! ::sniff::

WARREN. And Tara 😥

I’ve never hated a character in any form of media more than I hate Warren. Poor Tara.

What he did was pretty nasty, to put it mildly. And I hear he isn’t much better in the comics.

He’s just as bad in the comics, but physically grosser.

Booooo! Are the comics as good as the show?

It depends on your expectations. They’re very different, particularly in scale, but they’re enjoyable overall. Just like the show, some writers do a better job of capturing the characters’ voices than do others, and being a comic there’s less dialogue than in the show, but they’re worth reading. Lots of good moments. You just have to temper your expectations a bit. I know some people who absolutely hate them.

Good advice. I might give myself a bit more time then get into them. I miss that show, and am about to finish my first full rewatch!
