Haha, actually it’s a sequel to the American remake of the British TV show starring Ralph Fiennes and Uma Thurman. Because if there was one movie that demanded a sequel it was that one!
In short, I loved it too. (You can read my full review here: https://lovepirate77.wordpress.com/2015/05/07/review-avengers-age-of-ultron/ ) Scarlet Witch is probably my favorite aspect of the film, but I really enjoyed the Hulk and Widow love story too, although I realize I’m in the minority on that one.
Scarlet Witch is my new favorite as well. I’m glad we’ll get to see her more in Civil War since she didn’t have that much time in Ultron. Don’t get me wrong, the large ensemble was hard for everyone to get their moment to shine, though it still worked, so I don’t blame a smaller role for her. Still, she has a sense of power and vulnerability that I’m used to in the characters of SHIELD in her skills of telepathy and her intense relationship with her brother, so I can’t help but love her. Plus, I just liked the idea that she wore probably the most casual outfits throughout the most important scenes. Most of the time, it was just that red leather jacket. There’s something about it that makes her stand out from the other more obvious heroes like Cap or Iron Man. And my favorite scene was probably them stopping the train. It was really the turning point of the film for me.
Yeah, the point where they decide to help Cap and stop the train is huge for me too. And I love that she didn’t have a costume or an outfit, just a kickass red jacket and otherwise normal clothes. I can’t wait to see more of her in Civil War as well, though I’m worried that Civil War is now so jam packed that she still won’t get enough screen time.
I’ve heard of this movie…oh yeah, it’s the sequel to that British TV show film adaptation, right?

I loved it. Scarlet Witch is rad and it was funny, but I was less keen on the Hulk and Black Widow love story!
What did you think of it?
