At first, I enjoyed the show as being the most Canadian American TV show I had seen, but over repeated viewings, I came to rather loath Lorelai. Luke the Man Version of her Mother and Christopher was the Little Boy Version of her Dad. They made a serious mistake with the last season and all that Show Runner stuff.

I agree that the final season is a mess without its creator behind the story, but hopefully the Netflix revival they’re currently filming will fix those mistakes. As for Lorelai, I still love her after all of these viewings, though she is definitely flawed.

I found that the Luke vs Chris was dependant on which of her parents I prefered, that’s when I realized. I still kinda like the show, but not for the protage. Mrs Kimm was my fave.
