Master and Commander – Patrick O’Brian
The Love Pirate 
ALthough I didn’t read ALL the books, I have an appreciation for the Master and Commander series. The film was excellent, and I had the honor of following a couple from the theater who were discussing their tour of the Rose (who became the Surprise). I have not yet seen the Rose/Surprise myself, but have no doubt sailed with sailors who have worked upon her mighty decks, and did get to tour the Bounty before she sank.
