The Love Pirate 
I’ve never seen the live-action one from 2003. Have you seen the miniseries, ‘Neverland’ that came out a few years ago with Rhys Ifans as Captain Hook?

The 2003 version is fantastic, I highly recommend it. I did see the “Neverland” miniseries, which I found moderately enjoyable but wasn’t thrilled with. I mainly watched it for Bob Hoskins.

I really liked it for Rhys Ifans as Hook and the boy who played Peter Pan with just the right level of feistness-feistosity-feistesness-whatever the infinitive form of “feisty” is. But I wouldn’t call it a great production either.

I thought the cast was very good, especially the kid who played Peter Pan. I was less impressed with the production and the writing, however. Still, it was worth watching.

I hated though how pointless Tinkerbell was and I wasn’t impressed with her character design or Keira Knightley’s voicing.

I agree completely! It made me sad because I’m generally a Kiera Knightley fan.
