Just inflicted this on my 90 year old Mom… I have no idea what she thought.
I love it.
You can clearly see the advances in CG from this film to the present Pixar offerings… but that doesn’t mean Incredibles lacks anything. It is well designed, beautifully executed, and works within the limitations of the technology of the time to create a classic.
It has a lot of depth for a “cartoon”, some darkness through which the light shines brighter, and great family dynamics.
Also love the 60s spy film vibe gong on here.
And the superheroes’ names are even better than most of what Marvel has come up with!
I mean, Underminer! That beats about anything…
