My favorite has to be the first. I was 14 when I finally saw it for the first time but I was still on the edge of my seat at the climax. A movie has to be really special to do that for me. While the other two are good, I just feel attached to the first one because of that emotion. That and it introduced me to “The Power of Love” and “Johnny B. Goode.” This movie belongs on my top list for that alone.
Such spectacular music in the first one! I can’t remember when I first saw it, but it’s been one of my all time favorites for what seems like forever. For a time travel comedy, it’s uniquely thrilling and suspenseful, something other directors have failed to duplicate.
FAVE…MOVIES…EVER!!!!

There’s that word again: heavy. In the future, is there something wrong with the Earth’s gravitational pull?
I can quote this movie all day!

Hehe I know! It’s one of the few completely perfect movies in film history. So quotable!

Do you have a favorite among the three?

That’s tough, because I tend to think of them as one piece. The first one is perfection, but I might actually be more partial to III. What about you?

It’s hard. At one point, I loved II. III is awesome. I is classic. They’re just one set of films.

Yeah exactly. Though I can’t wait to watch part II on THE future day this fall!

Another great article! You’re spot on about both sagas, and they both played huge roles in my life as a film addict as well!
